Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II for Wallingford, CT, Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with rotational weekends. Pay range is $23.20–$24.90 per hour with potential annual bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders and enter data in lab systems.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information as required.
• Process specimens for transport including labeling and centrifuging.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory and sanitation.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and compliance with policies.
• Complete training courses timely.
