Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Phlebotomist II for Peekskill, NY, with Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM shifts and rotational Saturday mornings. Pay range is $24.50–$26.25 per hour, with eligibility for annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requires 3 years phlebotomy experience, strong data entry, and flexibility for weekends/holidays. High school diploma; phlebotomy certification preferred. English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record if applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent; medical training preferred; phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV and WA).

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens per established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transporting as needed.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
