Quest Diagnostics in Quincy, MA is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a Monday–Friday schedule 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with rotational weekends. The role emphasizes accurate specimen collection, data entry, and customer service.

Salary is $24.50–$26.25 per hour with potential annual bonus and comprehensive benefits.

The team supports patient care across pediatric, geriatric, and routine collections; applicants should have high school diploma and phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify test orders using lab technology systems and client contact.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties including inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, answering phones and using email.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs in a timely manner (maintenance and temperature logs).
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
