Quest Diagnostics in Springfield, NJ is hiring a Phlebotomist II for a Monday to Friday shift from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with rotational Saturdays 8:00 to 1:00. Pay range is $24.50–$26.25 per hour. The role requires at least three years of phlebotomy experience and strong data entry skills.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact; ensure accurate data entry.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Follow departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Assist with statistics submission when required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs including maintenance and temperature logs.
• Complete training courses timely.
