Quest Diagnostics in Waco, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team on a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The role involves collecting specimens, performing phlebotomy duties, and using lab technology systems to verify orders.

Salary starts at $20 per hour with potential annual bonus eligibility. Minimum three years of phlebotomy experience, data-entry skills, and a high school diploma are required; phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays/on-call.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify test/client information and orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate computers and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
