Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is expected.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders by using lab systems and client communication.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing) for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, sanitizing, phones, emails).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Complete training courses timely.
