Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Waxahachie, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a Monday–Friday schedule 7:30 AM–4:30 PM with weekend rotation. The role offers a pay range starting at $22.35 per hour plus eligibility for annual bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, order verification, data entry, and maintaining logs. Requires three years phlebotomy experience and high school diploma; certification preferred, training provided.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry proficiency.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license, if applicable.
• Flexible around weekends/holidays/overtime.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (California/Nevada/Washington require it).

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, etc.).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify and interpret orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Enter data accurately and navigate computer systems.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and prepare specimens for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, phones, etc.).
