Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• Phlebotomy license required in California; Quest does not accept NHA licenses in CA, WA, NV.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and adhere to safety and privacy policies.
• Assist with inventory, specimen processing, and general duties as needed.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
