Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II for Ramsey, NJ, Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with rotational weekends. The role involves collecting specimens, preparing samples, and ensuring accurate data entry across lab systems.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data for testing and billing as required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport preparation.
