Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Port Arthur, TX, working Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with rotational weekends. Salary range starts at $20.00 per hour, with potential performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders and enter data using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
