Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Cameron, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team on a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotational weekends. The position offers a starting pay around $20 per hour and opportunities for performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and confirm/verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments following corporate policies when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport preparation.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs in a timely manner.
• Complete online and in-person training timely.
