Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Chino, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team on a Monday to Friday schedule, with rotational weekends. The role involves specimen collection, order verification, and data entry in a patient-focused lab setting to support accurate testing and timely results.

The position requires three years of phlebotomy experience, California certification, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience and ability to navigate lab systems.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California per state rules.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures, including drug screens and biometric tests.
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify test orders and enter data using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitation, filing, phones, email.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training courses timely.
