Quest Diagnostics in Quinton, VA is hiring a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens, operate lab systems, and support patient care in a Monday–Friday schedule with weekends on a rotating basis.

The role requires three years of phlebotomy experience, valid data-entry skills, and reliability. Training and certifications are valued, with full-time employment and comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing info and collect payments.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, supplies, sanitizing, filing, phones, and email.
• Read and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs in a timely manner.
• Complete trainings online and in person timely.
