Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Edison, NJ seeks a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens, perform routine duties and support the laboratory team on a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating weekends.

The role offers a pay range of $24.50 to $26.25 per hour, plus eligibility for annual performance bonuses. Candidates should have at least three years of phlebotomy experience and strong data-entry skills; English communication is required; company benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, across pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Availability including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens per procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client data.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs.
• Complete training courses timely.
