Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a territory in Gold River, CA. The role requires a state phlebotomy license and travels across the territory with a typical workweek from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotational weekends.

The pay range is $26.60 to $29.40 per hour, with eligibility for annual performance bonus. Candidates should have phlebotomy experience and a valid driver license for travel, with strong patient service skills in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Two years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA, and LA.
• This position requires you to have a state phlebotomy license; Quest does not accept NHA licenses in CA, WA, NV.
• Travel up to 75% across the territory.
• English required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Preferred: phlebotomy accredited program, medical assistant or paramedic training.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections including venipuncture and capillary draws.
• Obtain patient identification and accurate labeling.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing per orders.
• Provide professional, courteous patient service in a high-volume setting.
