Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist - Lab to support our client's healthcare team in Castleton-on-Hudson, NY. Schedule: 1st shift, Mon-Fri with alternating Saturdays in Latham. Location: 2500 Pond View, Castleton, NY; some shifts in Latham.

Pay rate: $19-$22 per hour. Contract length: 3 months with potential extension and conversion. Responsibilities include blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique, specimen processing, EKG, and order entry with data verification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all ages.
• Performs specimen processing and EKG in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
• Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient notations using appropriate sources.

Schedule: 1st shift. Monday-Friday. 7:30am-4:30pm, alternating Saturdays in Latham. 7:00am-1:00pm.

Location: 2500 Pond View, Castleton, NY. Every other Saturday: 595 New Loudon Rd., Latham, NY 12110.

Pay Rate: 19 - 22/hour

Contract Length: 3-month contract with possibility of extension and conversion into a full-time role.

Duties

• Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups
• Performs specimen processing and EKG in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
• Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.
