Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist II to support a healthcare facility in Austin, TX. The role is a local contract with shift from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

You will perform blood collection, specimen processing, EKGs, and order entry, handling data verification and patient notes. Requires HS diploma and at least 3 years of phlebotomy experience; pediatrics phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Pediatrics phlebotomy experience preferred.

Pay Range: 21.63/Hour

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Responsibilities:

Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.

Performs specimen processing and EKG in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.

Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Pediatrics Phlebotomy experienced preferred
