The position requires venipuncture skills, reliability, and the ability to travel between locations. Schedule is Monday–Friday, with competitive hourly pay and a contingent with potential pathway for hire status.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1–3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Strong venipuncture and specimen handling skills.
  • Patient Service Center experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel between locations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Collect blood specimens using venipuncture, capillary, and other approved methods.
  • Prepare, label, process, and transport specimens according to procedures.
  • Verify patient demographics and proper specimen identification.
  • Obtain patient signatures and confirm labeling accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties.
  • Provide excellent customer service and a positive patient experience.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
  • Support multiple Patient Service Center and in-office locations as needed.

Location: St. Louis, MO

Pay Rate: $22.35 - $23.95 per hour (depending on experience)

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Strong venipuncture and specimen handling skills
  • Patient Service Center experience preferred
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred
  • Keyboard and data entry proficiency
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts based on business needs
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
  • Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
