  • Customer service experience in healthcare, retail, or service environment preferred.
  • Patient Service Center experience preferred.
  • Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
  • Strong keyboarding, data entry, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations as needed.
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric specimen collections following procedures.
  • Verify patient identification and ensure specimens are labeled in patient presence.
  • Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing while maintaining specimen integrity.
  • Maintain patient records and documentation accurately and confidentially.
  • Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while creating a professional, welcoming environment for patients.
  • Travel to multiple locations as needed to support operations.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.

Location: Louisville, KY

Pay Rate: $21.50 - $23.05 per hour

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM; Friday, 7:45 AM - 1:45 PM

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Strong phlebotomy skills with the ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment
  • Customer service experience in a healthcare, retail, or service environment highly preferred
  • Experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
  • Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred
  • Strong keyboarding, data entry, communication, and organizational skills
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
