Responsibilities:

• Perform phlebotomy following department protocols.
• Assist Medical Technologists with routine laboratory duties.
• Verify doctor’s requests, perform typing and registration tasks.
• Collect and deliver specimens to appropriate departments.
• Perform assigned job-specific duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year laboratory experience preferred.
• Technical training in college or related program preferred.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of routine test procedures.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines for chemicals and reagents.
