Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist I to collect specimens and perform routine phlebotomy tasks in Marion, OH. The schedule is Monday to Friday with variable hours and rotating weekends; hours are 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The role emphasizes accurate data entry and customer service in English, with opportunities for annual bonus consideration.

Minimum pay starts at $20 per hour. Candidates with phlebotomy certification (where required) and relevant experience will be considered for full-time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments as required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones and email.
