The role involves specimen collection, data entry, and adherence to lab procedures. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with preference for phlebotomy certification and one year of phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail/service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contacts.
• Navigate computer systems to enter data accurately.
• Obtain IDs and enter billing information while following policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance logs.
