Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II for Newtown, PA, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotational weekends. Pay range begins at $23.20 per hour.

The role involves collecting specimens, preparing and processing samples, and accurate data entry in computer systems. Qualified candidates will have at least three years of phlebotomy experience, proficiency in English, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client information.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain ID and enter billing information; collect payments when required.
• Prepare and transport specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, calls/emails).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
