Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Phlebotomist I in Marion, OH, with Monday–Friday hours from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and rotating weekends. The role offers a minimum pay of $20 per hour and benefits.

The successful candidate will collect specimens, process samples, and perform related clerical tasks in a clinical lab environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy certification (preferred), and at least one year of phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Responsabilités

• Collect specimens according to established procedures. Includes drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems, client contact, and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Identify patient, enter billing information, and collect payments per policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
