Quest Diagnostics in Mount Gilead, OH is seeking a Phlebotomist I for a Monday–Friday schedule 7:00 AM–12:30 PM with rotational Saturday shifts 8:00 AM–12:00 PM. The role focuses on specimen collection, labeling, and data entry into lab systems.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (not required in Ohio).

Responsabilidades

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and confirm and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, stocking supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and emailing as appropriate.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and tests in a timely manner.
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
