Job summary

Talentify's client, a Medical Research company, seeks a Phlebotomist I for the Daytona Beach, FL location. The phlebotomist will represent the organization to patients, draw quality blood samples, and prepare specimens for lab testing following established procedures.

Under the area supervisor, you will maintain a safe, professional environment, keep required records, and demonstrate strong confidentiality and accuracy. Prior phlebotomy experience and basic data entry skills are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred.
• 6 months of phlebotomy experience is needed.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company to patients in person and as part of their health routine or health decisions.
• Draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
• Interacts directly with patients, explaining procedures to build trust and ensure safe, accurate blood collection.
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality of patient information.
• Under supervision, performs daily activities accurately and on time, maintains a safe, professional environment, and keeps required records.
