Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist I for our Riverview, FL site to collect quality blood samples and prepare specimens for testing. You will interact directly with patients, explaining procedures and maintaining a trustworthy, professional environment.

This entry-level role requires at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma, and a preference for phlebotomy certification. Strong customer service and data-entry skills are valued in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company to patients and maintain a friendly, professional atmosphere.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing following procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure a safe, accurate blood draw.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors with emphasis on process excellence and confidentiality.
• Maintain records, organize documentation, and perform duties under supervision with reliability.
