Job summary

ICONMA seeks a Phlebotomist I for the Folsom, CA location to join a medical research client. You will represent the clinic, perform safe blood draws, and prepare specimens for lab testing in a trusted patient-facing role.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or equivalent, a CPT/phlebotomy license, and at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience with strong data entry and customer service skills. This on-site position emphasizes accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Represent the company to patients and explain procedures in a calm, professional manner.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
• Interact with patients to build trust and ensure a safe, accurate collection process.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation under supervision and in a compliant, confidential environment.

Our Client, a Medical Research company, is looking for a Phlebotomist I for their Folsom, CA location.

Responsibilities

• The Phlebotomist I represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
• The Phlebotomist I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• The Phlebotomist I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
• The Phlebotomist I will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. Maintains required records and documentation. Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.

Requirements

• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
