Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or training in medical support roles.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in some states.
• Medical training (e.g., medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders via lab tech systems and client contact; enter data accurately.
• Navigate computer systems to enter data and manage records.
• Obtain ID and enter billing information; collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, preparing for transport).
• Perform non-patient duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and relevant maintenance logs.
