Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Mount Gilead, OH is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support patient testing in a fast-paced environment. The role is Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM with rotational Saturdays 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The position offers a minimum pay of $20.00 per hour and may include annual performance bonus potential. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, medical training preferred, and phlebotomy certification where required; one year phlebotomy experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport.
• Handle non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Read and follow departmental policies.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance logs.
• Complete training courses timely.
