Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist I for the 1st shift in Wallingford, CT. This contract role runs 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with some Saturday hours and requires phlebotomy skills for patient sampling and processing, all while ensuring safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include data entry, maintaining records, and presenting a professional image to patients. Prior phlebotomy experience is preferred; California, Nevada, and Washington require certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Graduated Phlebotomy Class required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
