Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Naples, FL seeks a Phlebotomist I to collect specimens and perform related duties on a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend rotation. The position offers an hourly pay range starting at $20 with potential bonuses based on performance and company factors.

Responsibilities include specimen processing, data entry, and adherence to policies; education requirements include a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred or required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures including drug screens and biometric screening.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain ID and enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, and email.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance logs.
• Complete online and in-person training timely.
