Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client information; enter data accurately.
• Handle billing information and payments when required, per policy.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient-facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and records; complete trainings timely.
