Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Newbury Park, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist I for a Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM role with rotational weekends. The position requires a state phlebotomy license; CA, WA, NV license requirements are specified.

Pay range is $24.00–$25.70 per hour, with potential annual bonus eligibility depending on performance. Responsibilities include specimen collection, sample processing, data entry, and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screenings and insurance exams.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and confirm and verify orders using lab systems, client contact, and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
