Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a Phlebotomist I in Danvers, MA, working Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with rotational weekends. The role involves specimen collection, processing, and data entry within a clinical lab environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (where required).

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
