Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Erie, PA is seeking a Phlebotomist I to collect specimens and support patient services in a fast-paced clinical lab. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy and compliance with procedures.

Shifts are Monday–Friday from 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM with rotational weekend duties. A starting pay of $20.00 per hour is offered, with potential for annual bonuses and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify test orders using lab systems and client info.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain ID and enter billing information per policy.
• Process specimens for labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport.
