Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Fullerton, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist I to collect specimens, prepare samples, and verify orders. The role involves computer data entry, patient interaction, and adherence to safety and privacy policies.

Monday–Friday shifts start early with rotational weekend coverage. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and preferred phlebotomy certification; CA/NV/WA certs are noted.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.

Mansioni

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client communications.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required following policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
