Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Manvel, TX, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM with rotational weekend. The role requires specimen collection, data entry, and compliance with policies. English communication is essential, and phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screening.
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Review test orders and verify accuracy using lab systems and client contacts.
• Navigate computers and enter data accurately.
• Obtain ID and enter billing information; collect payments per policies.
• Process specimens: label, centrifuge, aliquot, freeze, transport as required.
• Perform non-patient-facing duties: inventory, sanitation, filing, calls and emails.
