Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Bedford, TX, is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotational weekends. The role offers a pay range starting at $20.80 per hour, with potential annual bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, phlebotomy training or certification is preferred, and solid customer service and computer data-entry skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures including drug screens and biometric screening.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data; verify orders and billing information.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones and emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training courses timely.
