Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in CA, NV, WA.

Responsibilities

Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screening.
Administer oral solutions as trained.
Verify orders using lab technology systems and client contact.
Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, sanitation, filing, phones, email).
Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
