Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Port Charlotte, FL (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM) with weekend rotation. Starting pay is $20+ per hour, with comprehensive benefits and potential annual bonus based on performance.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, order verification, data entry, and maintaining phlebotomy logs. English communication is required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; medical training preferred; phlebotomy certification preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify test/client orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
