The position emphasizes accurate data entry, adherence to procedures, and collaboration with clinical staff while supporting patient service goals and sample integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain ID and enter billing information; collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport prep.
