The role requires accurate venipuncture, specimen collection, and processing, while maintaining clear communication with adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients. Early shifts and a team-focused lab workflow are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience required.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and efficient venipuncture and blood specimen collection.
• Collect specimens from adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients.
• Prepare and process specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain collection procedures clearly and professionally to patients.
• Create a comfortable and trustworthy environment for patients.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing as required.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Follow established safety, quality, and confidentiality procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and coworkers.

• Schedule: Monday-Friday: 5:00 AM-1:30 PM
• Rotational Saturdays: 5:00 AM-11:00 AM
• Schedule: Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
• Rotational Saturdays: 5:00 AM-11:00 AM

Location: Miami, FL 33186 or Miami, FL 33176

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 6+ months

Pay Range: $19 to $21/hour*

*Pay offered is based on experience,expertise, credentialing, and education.
