Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP standards.
2. Provide excellent customer service to maintain a positive donor experience.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
4. Review donor identification and uphold confidentiality standards.
5. Prepare equipment and supplies for venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures.
6. Label and handle samples and units accurately.
7. Perform venipunctures and operate automated plasmapheresis machines, responding to alarms and alerts.
8. Monitor donor conditions, ensuring safety and comfort.
9. Handle biohazardous waste and clean spills following safety protocols.
10. Perform routine calibration and maintenance of equipment.
11. Report unsafe conditions to management.
12. Manage inventory and replenish supplies as needed.
13. Troubleshoot machine issues and perform quality controls.
14. Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State-specific certification or licensing may be required.
• Minimum three months of experience in healthcare preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to perform venipunctures and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Effective in a fast-paced environment with attention to safety and detail.
