Title: Phlebotomist I

Duration: 3 months

Location: Dublin, Georgia, United States, 31021

Shift: Monday through Wednesday 11am to 5pm, Thursday 8am to 2pm

Description:

• The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients, providing health routine services and insights into health decisions.
• The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients, prepares specimens for lab testing, and follows established procedures.
• Creates a trusting environment, explaining procedures and drawing blood safely, accurately, and skillfully.
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy.
• Performs daily activities accurately and on time under supervision.
• Maintains a safe and professional environment.
• Handles forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing confidently, following protocols.
• Maintains records and documentation.
• Promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to produce quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience required; over 1 year preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail or service sector preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
