Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist to support our client’s team in Boise, ID. The role is a full-time 13-weeks contract, focusing on collecting high-quality blood specimens, preparing samples for laboratory testing, and maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of direct phlebotomy experience

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
  • Verify patient identity and accurately label specimens.
  • Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Follow established safety, quality, and infection control procedures.
  • Deliver professional, compassionate patient care and excellent customer service.
  • Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Travel to nearby patient service centers or physician offices as business needs require.

Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative (Phlebotomist) is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens, preparing samples for laboratory testing, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing exceptional customer service while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
  • Verify patient identity and accurately label specimens.
  • Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Follow established safety, quality, and infection control procedures.
  • Deliver professional, compassionate patient care and excellent customer service.

  • Travel to nearby patient service centers or physician offices as business needs require.

Additional Information
  • Location:Boise, ID
  • Job Type: 3+ months contract
  • Pay Range: $17.50 - $20.50 hourly
  • Shifts: Mon -Fri: 8 AM - 5 PM

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
