Job summary

Labcorp in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages and provide exceptional patient service.

The role requires accurate data entry, specimen preparation and travel to additional sites as needed. A high school diploma and phlebotomy experience are preferred; LabCorp experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires phlebotomy experience and ability to collect specimens for all age groups.
• Phlebotomy or related certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
