LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Hazel Park, Michigan. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages, provide excellent customer service, and support lab operations in a client office.

The role includes data entry, billing support, specimen preparation, and potential travel to other sites. A high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or approved training are required; 1 year of phlebotomy experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
