Labcorp in New Orleans, LA, is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-centered team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, enter patient data, and support billing and specimen preparation.

This role emphasizes exceptional service as you travel to additional sites as needed. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, with preferred 1 year of phlebotomy experience.

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as phlebotomist.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
