Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to collect blood samples in Baltimore, MD, Monday to Friday with some weekends/holidays rotations. You will handle venipuncture, specimen preparation, data entry and front-desk duties, delivering excellent patient service.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1+ year phlebotomy experience, with potential certification. Benefits include health cover and 401(k); travel to other sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Phlebotomy certification or training program.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis; maintain logs.
